Ryan jackson's homepage

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Victoria. I completed my PhD at the University of Hertfordshire working with Dr Sugata Kaviraj. I completed a BSc in Astrophysics at the University of Hertfordshire and an MSc by Research at Durham University with Prof. Ray Sharples. My main research areas are galaxy formation and evolution, primarily using large cosmological simulation (such as Horizon-AGN and New Horizon). I am particularly interested in dwarf galaxies and the low surface brightness universe. I am currently using the New Horizon simulation to make testable predictions for upcoming deep survey intruments such as LSST.
